Dr. Everton A. Ennis is an ordained pastor in the South Atlantic Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He currently pastors New Jerusalem SDA Praise & Worship Center in Douglasville, GA and Newnan First SDA Church in Newnan GA., where he is supported in ministry by his wife Ingrid.

Dr. Ennis is a graduate of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL (BA, Theology ‘99) and the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI (Master of Divinity ’01, and Doctor of Ministry ‘14). As a result of his doctoral work and pastoral experience, he has developed an expertise and specialization in Congregational Conflict Resolution Training. In June 2015, he furthered his passion for conflict resolution ministry through formal training and registration as a General Civil Mediator (an alternative dispute resolution provision administered through the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and the Administrative Office of the Courts/Judicial Council of GA).

Dr. Ennis demonstrates highly developed competencies in transformative church leadership. Under his leadership, at least three formerly conflicted congregations have experienced notable relational and missional transformation, moving “From Holy Hell to Hallelujah Again.” This accomplishment became the inspiration and title of his recently released book (available at the Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com, and ClassActSeminars.com). He is known as a pastor’s pastor, an encourager, one with a passion for seeing his colleagues and their churches do well.

Through CLASS Act Seminars (his teaching ministry), he is invited across the USA and  internationally to conduct seminars and workshops at churches, elders’ retreats, camp meetings, and other forums to equip pastors and congregations with general and case-specific conflict education and cutting-edge leadership solutions. As a licensed mediator, he provides professional conciliation services between pastors and congregants or congregations embroiled in conflict.

His extra-curricular hobbies include traveling, meeting people, avid reading and writing, shooting pool, playing dominoes, and working on cars. His personal and professional philosophy is that: Great things are accomplished, not so much by great men, but by men who take a great God at His word!
